A Place to Grow, Belong, and Thrive
A path to housing, stability, belonging, and peace of mind.
At Community Homes, we know families want peace of mind. For nearly 30 years, we’ve provided exceptional community-based housing for adults with developmental disabilities, where residents live rich, full lives. Our homes are small and personal, never institutional. Each home is part of a local neighborhood where residents feel connected and at home.
Our housing models offers residents support and stability so they can build connections, grow their independence, and feel a sense of belonging.
You Don’t Have to Figure It Out Alone
We help families plan for the future with support every step of the way.
There is a path forward and you don’t have to walk it by yourself.

- Each home is supported by a live-in caregiver who becomes part of the household, creating consistency and genuine relationships.
- We carefully match residents with compatible housemates to create homes that foster friendships and belonging.
- Residents are encouraged to build skills, make choices, and grow their independence while staying supported.
- Families remain active partners, staying connected and involved in meaningful ways.
- We guide families through every step, providing a clear pathway, even if you’re not ready to transition today.

Families Often Ask Us…
- How do I know if my loved one is ready?
Many families start planning years in advance. You don’t have to be ready today — attending an Info Session is a simple first step.
- Can we stay involved once our loved one moves?
Absolutely. Families are our closest partners. You’ll continue to play a key role—supporting your loved one by managing disability benefits, personal finances, medical appointments and prescriptions, and maintaining regular connection through visits and family gatherings. We’ll help you stay involved in meaningful ways.
- What if we’ve had a bad experience before?
You’re not alone. We work with families who are planning ahead, navigating transitions, or determined to find the right fit after a failed housing experience.
- What housing models does Community Homes offer?
